Once upon a time, there was a girl who did not know what job she wanted to have. She was lost and confused about her future. She decided to travel to the land of Skills Link where she met the magical old wizard named Dave Rossi. Dave is an amazing, lively and open-minded wizard. He had lots of tales and stories about his adventures throughout his life. One of his famous stories is when he traveled to the land of “New-Zea-Land.” He taught her that people are capable of doing things if they set their mind on it and that people have potential in themselves.

 

He saw that his new pupils had more to offer than what they are showing. He promised that he will give his 100% to making his lesson. The girl trusted his word because he gave an example by telling her the story about building his boat. A peasant told him that he couldn’t build a boat but with determination and learning new spells and tricks he was able to build one.

                  The wizard taught her how to be open-minded. He told her not to be stuck in doing one thing and that there are more than one options to her profession. He threw in spells and ideas towards her way to get her going towards the direction she can possible take. She has attention to detail? A machinist. She liked organizing? Receptionist or a Front Desk Agent! The wizard mushed her brain with ideas until something clicked within her mind. Another important lesson he taught her is to be thoughtful. Being a thoughtful person can help her with her everyday life. Being thoughtful can bring forth allies in the work place and more friends throughout the land. Being thoughtful and open-minded were the two most important things that she took away from his lessons.

                  The girl valued the presence of the wizard. She looked forward getting up in the morning and giving the old wizard a visit. His vibrant, entertaining and interesting new stories and wisdom is something to look forward to. He taught her to ask questions. He taught her to question her actions because every actions she makes has a reason. She just needs to find it within her. Dave also told her to create a positive habit as well as maintain it. He said that it takes discipline to keep the habit going. And she did what she was told. She changed her sleeping schedule so that she will sleep early and wake up early. She even cut down on her video games and focused more on her self-improvement by writing down on her “Day Journal.”

                  The wizard motivated her to continue learning new spells, and new techniques to improve herself, to be more open-minded about life and work; to be thoughtful of others; and to ask questions when meeting new people or if she has doesn’t know a certain information.

                  The 5 weeks she spent with the wizard also thought her how to project herself, branch put her career options and to ask valuable questions. She learned how her happiness comes first by keeping herself healthy and safe, and that her success comes second. After leaving Skills Link, the girl became confident and assured with herself. She was more talkative, she had better posture and she was able to be more open-minded and thoughtful when it comes to the opinions of others. Overall, the wizard, Dave Rossi, truly changed her life and her views towards the world with his teachings. Hopefully, she can visit and see him more in the future.
