What do you say to a stranger who saved your kids life

Hi Dave:
To be honest last time I sat down to write the letter I went blank. What do you say to a stranger who saved your kids life. Who stuck with him when he needed it most.
Thankyou can never be enough
Now I have started going to an online adoptee support group myself and realized how wrong my thinking was I just feel even more fortunate that you met Chris and showed him a different way existed.
Also when we were in Penticton and after reading your book myself I wished someone had taught me critical thinking 30 years ago. As an adoptee it would have helped alot
I think you should give yourself a big pat on the back for recognizing the search that Chris was on for a better way of thinking.

Once again thankyou so much

Great Workshop

Hi Dave

Once again we really enjoyed having you come in to talk to the youth. They really enjoyed the workshop, commenting after “ that really made me think”. One youth said the next day, that after he went home that night, he rethought everything.  I commented, “that is what it was about”.

All the youth told the one male who did not come in that he missed a great workshop.

Like always it is very enjoyable!  And a pleasure to have you here.  You are very personable and connect so easily with everyone-youth and staff.

Thank you once again.

"I really enjoyed your book "Have you ever been to see?" It was a great read and thought provoking- love your writing style as it was entertaining and had a profound message to it. Enjoyed Billy's transformation under the guidance of the ever wise sea captain. Good to know there are dedicated and capable people as yourself helping our youth

How to handle the everyday problems

In the short weeks in Mr. Rossi's class about critical thinking I have learned a few new ideas on how to handle the everyday problems that people might encounter in a day or week, maybe a year. Putting what you have learned into a well structured plan, what your goal is, what you must do, and taking those steps towards a finish product is possibly easier said than done but if you do take these steps your likely hood to succeed at any goal will improve; as to the average individuals who attempts the same thing as you and tries to expect to get the same results without the same effort put into work. Some people however have some amazing wizard cap on which improves their luck hundred times fold, but not everyone can be so lucky.

Are we consistent on our goals?

So I learned in class with Dave Rossi that most things in life are all about interpretation on vagueness and ambiguity and asking the right questions means obtaining the right answers we as people with jobs need to think more about finding the truth and realize who we are and how we are presenting ourselves. Are we consistent on our goals? Do we have goals? We need to be critical thinkers and clear to our purpose. Most people need to learn how to be independent and self reliant.

To have an open mind is to be thoughtful of other points of view

One of the inspiring teachings of Dave Rossi, what I have learned while taking the Employ!

Course is the power to control the outcome; fate is a product of our creation. Our actions, Body language and ability to look at things without connecting ourselves can shape our future. Employ! Has helped me clear the path to my goal and has also made me realize what I want to do in life. I would've never realized I want to create guitars and musical instruments for my career, sure I had talked about it with my buddies "hell yeah, that would be a sick job eh!" and all that, but it was just unrealistic from my point of view; an unachievable goal. In all reality, I was wrong, I can be whatever I want to be with determination and purpose my goal isn't some ethereal dream; it is closer than I think.

This course is more than just a course; it has opened my eyes to all possibilities and given me the confidence to be independent and self reliant.
